In this report, we convey our cautious optimism on the Indonesian consumer sector, the engine of growth for the domestic economy.  Based on Bank Indonesia’s (BI) monthly board meeting, the Indonesian economic recovery appears to be on track with BI estimating 2Q10 GDP growth to reach 6%, up from 5.7% in 1Q10.
